In “When Life Gives You Tangerines“, Seoul National University student Yang Geum Myeong (played by IU) becomes a tutor for Oh Jenny, a high school girl from a wealthy family, and finds herself tempted to take a test on her behalf. Oh Jenny plays a pivotal role in the plot, adding tension to the story.

The actress playing Oh Jenny is none other than Kim Soo An, who previously drew attention as Gong Yoo’s daughter in the film “Train to Busan“. Kim Soo An made her debut as a child actress in 2011 and left a strong impression through her roles in films such as “The Battleship Island” and “Along with the Gods“.

In particular, her role as Gong Yoo’s daughter in “Train to Busan” (released in 2016) when she was just 10 years old received widespread acclaim for her emotional depth and moving performance.
