However, before her comeback on “Guitar Man”, Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of February 16, making this film her final work. No evidence of external intrusion or criminal activity was found, and the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

The production company of “Guitar Man” shared with X Sports News, “After going through many hardships due to her past drunk driving accident, we hoped for Kim Sae-ron to make a strong return to the public in a positive light,” expressing deep regret.

Previously, she was involved in a drunk driving incident, resulting in a 20 million won (approximately 14,000 USD) fine, which led to a period of self-reflection. She was planning to return to the stage with the play “Dongchimi” in April of last year, but due to negative public opinion, she withdrew, citing health issues.

Also, Kim Sae-ron changed her name to Kim Ah-im and used this name when she applied for part-time jobs at a café. She also dreamed of opening her own café, but tragically passed away before she could achieve that.
