Comedian Kim Shin-young addressed her past PLAVE controversy on the latest episode of “Noon Song of Hope,” acknowledging the group’s work and memorizing all their names. She mentioned learning from “her nephew,” calling them her “Teacher PLAVE.”
Previously, she faced backlash for expressing difficulty understanding virtual idols, stating PLAVE couldn’t appear on her show. After criticism from fans, she apologized, admitting her remarks were ignorant and rude, and promised to educate herself.

2. Ugh… It’s a mess again. At this point, wouldn’t it be better for the fans to unite and either make the member who wrote the misogynistic lyrics issue a proper apology or push for their withdrawal? What did the other members do wrong? I feel the sorriest for her, who keeps getting dragged into this.
3. Are people still criticizing them? By now, will they stop, or will they get even more backlash because of Kim Shin-young?
4. Last time was rude, okay. But she apologized and is even making an effort – if people still criticize her, there’s nothing more to say, for real.
