Young actress Lee Eun-jae, who appears in “Tell Me That You Love Me”, arouses keen interest from viewers

Actress Lee Eun-jae was born in 1997 in Gwangju. She was already famous on social media during her high school days before her acting debut and was even nicknamed  “Suzy of Kyungshin Girls’ High School”.

In 2017, Lee Eun-jae was accepted to Joseon University and became a cover model for Univ Tomorrow magazine. After a while, she took a leave of absence from school and worked as a YouTube while continuing modeling activities. Despite gaining many subscribers, all her videos were taken down after she found an agency. Perhaps the agency wanted to manage her image.

Later, when a fan asked if she would resume YouTube activities, Lee Eun-jae replied that she wanted to focus on establishing her presence as an actress.

Lee Eun-jae debuted in February 2019 through an Innisfree advertisement. In the same year, she received a casting offer from a WHYNOT MEDIA web drama PD who saw her Univ Tomorrow cover photos. Lee Eun-jae actually refused the offer at first but the PD tried to persuade her for a long time. In the end, she made her acting debut as the main character Kim Yeon-du in “Best Mistake”, a drama based on a game of the same name in July.

The actress then continued starring in Seasons 2 & 3 of “Best Mistake”, then JTBC’s “18 Again”, “Divorce Attorney Shin” and the movie “Dream”. Through the projects, Shin Eun-jae impressed the public with her lovely and pure visual as well as her stable acting skills despite being a rookie.

Lee Eun-jae was cast in Genie TV’s ongoing original series “Tell Me That You Love Me”. Based on the Japanese TV series “Aishiteiru to Itte Kure”, “Tell Me That You Love Me” is a classic melodrama about the silent love between painter Cha Jin-woo (Jung Woo-sung), who talks with his hands, and actress Jung Mo-eun (Shin Hyun-been), who listens with her heart.

In this drama, Lee Eun-jae plays Cha Jin-woo’s college classmate and ex-lover Song Seo-kyung (Kim Ji-hyun) in her 20s. Viewers are expected to see Lee Eun-jae’s emotional acting when portraying the refreshing love story of Seo-kyung and Jin-woo, from the moment they met to their painful breakup.

“Tell Me That You Love Me”, starring Lee Eun-jae, is released every Monday and Tuesday via Genie TV and ENA.
