Lovestagram Activity from B.I?

The controversy erupted after a fan account on X (formerly Twitter), @Shxxlirs, shared images and observations pointing to possible signs of a relationship — and, more notably, the alleged use of gifts from fans by B.I’s girlfriend.

According to the fan, a woman believed to be B.I’s girlfriend recently posted a mirror selfie featuring a custom phone case — a case that had been gifted to B.I by fans for his birthday. Further fueling the speculation, his signature shoes were also reportedly visible in the frame.

The situation escalated when more content from the same account surfaced, including videos where B.I’s voice could allegedly be heard in the background. These clips have since been deleted, which only added to fan suspicion.

Fans’ reactions

While fans expressed support for his right to date, many were upset not over the relationship itself, but rather the perceived disrespect in allowing a significant other to use items funded by supporters. The original post clarified:

“What I care about most is the gifts carefully selected and prepared by the fans, and the symbols that originally only belong to B.I and ID are used by my sister-in-law. I can accept love, but I also think that there is a piece in his heart that is left to the fans alone.”

As of now, 143 Entertainment has made no official comment on the situation.

The incident highlights the delicate boundaries between idols and fans, especially when fan-funded gifts are involved. For a dedicated fandom, what seems like a small oversight can quickly become a source of deep emotional conflict.
