On January 1st, Koo Jun-yeop wrote on his personal SNS account, “Happy New Year”, delivering a New Year’s greeting in Chinese and Korean. He released a photo with his wife Barbie Hsu and his family.
In the picture, the two smiled happily while taking a selfie with their family members.
Earlier on April 19th, 2024, top Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu captured and shared a Taiwanese media article on her Instagram with a caption that said, “I don’t want to sue people anymore, OK?”
The capture contains a report on Hsu’s alleged affair, which was written based on her husband Koo Jun-yeop’s appearance on an episode of SBS’s variety show “Dolsing Fourmen,” which was aired on April 16th.
Lee Sang-min said on the show, “Koo Jun-yeop is still making memories with Barbie Hsu. I heard that he takes couple photos with her in the elevator every time they go out.” Lee also shared a picture of the couple in the elevator.
However, a Taiwanese media outlet claimed, “Barbie Hsu had a couple tattooed on her collarbone as ‘Remember Together Forever’ after reuniting (with her current husband Koo) in 2022. However, there is no tattoo in the photo released by Koo. We suspected that it was not taken after the couple got married,” raising suspicions of Hsu cheating on her ex-husband with her current husband.
In response, Barbie Hsu personally posted the captured photo of the article, along with a couple photo with Koo Jun-yeop, whose collarbone tattoo was clearly visible, drawing attention.
Meanwhile, Barbie Hsu married Wang Xiaopei in 2011 and had one son and one daughter, but the two divorced in 2021 after 10 years of marriage. Barbie Hsu later reunited with her Korean ex-boyfriend Koo Jun-yup, who she parted with 20 years ago, and they got married in 2022.
