On January 25th, the YouTube channel Singles Magazine released an interview video titled “‘Me with Bo-young Noona? Actually, that day…” #The Truth of the Day as told by Park Hyung-sik!”.
In the video, Park Hyung-sik shared, “What makes me the happiest these days is being with people who love me,” adding, “I guess I’m love-deprived. I keep seeking out people who can give me love”.
He also revealed, “Although I’m the youngest at home, our family has always been very affectionate. I think I absorbed all of that. When I hang up the phone with my brother, who’s two years older, I say ‘I love you.’ Everyone around us looks like they’re thinking, ‘What did I just hear?’ That’s when I realized our family might be a little different.”
He added, “Ever since I was young, my father would always say ‘I love my sons’ before leaving for work. Growing up with a father like that, expressing affection just became something natural and comfortable for me.”
Park Hyung-sik recalled, “When we were filming the drama ‘Strong Woman Do Bong-soon,’ the camera directors would say, ‘You two are suspicious’ because of my natural expressions of affection toward Park Bo-young. This led the drama staff to misunderstand our relationship.”
The conversation then turned to the dating rumors between Park Hyung-sik and Park Bo-young which recently re-emerged. In October last year, Park Bo-young and Park Hyung-sik attended a breast cancer awareness charity campaign event together. During the event, Park Bo-young was seen gently removing an eyelash from Park Hyung-sik’s face, sparking dating rumors.
Park Hyung-sik explained, “Noona (older sister) was sitting next to me, and she said, ‘Let me take a picture.’ At that moment, she noticed and said, ‘Hyung-sik, you have an eyelash here.’ I asked, ‘Where?’ and noona removed it for me.”
He clarified the situation behind the captured moment, saying, “When it’s edited like that, I can see how it might look that way.”
Overall, Park Hyung-sik directly denied the dating rumors, drawing attention with his explanation.
