“Screen Debut” TWICE’s Dahyun “After Filming an Emotional Scene, I Realized How Fun Acting Is”

On October 3rd, the stage greeting for the film “You Are the Apple of My Eye” was held at the outdoor stage of the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu, Busan.
Making her screen debut with this film, Dahyun said, “Today is the first time I’m watching the movie on the big screen. I hope you all look forward to it.“

“You Are the Apple of My Eye” is remake of 2011 Taiwanese movie of the same name.
The Taiwanese movie “You are the Apple of My Eye” depicted the blossoming emotions of a bright youth romance between the school’s problem child and the model student assigned to monitor him. It received much love throughout Asia at the time of release.
Reflecting on the filming experience, Dahyun said, “While shooting, it felt like I was going back to those days and spending time with friends, and I was really happy.” She added, “I’ve been eagerly waiting for the release, and I hope it comes out soon.”

When asked if there was a moment when she felt confident about acting, Dahyun responded, “Since it was my first project, I was nervous and had a lot of worries. But the director, seniors and fellow actors took good care of me and gave me advice. It was a fun set.”
She added, “There’s a scene where I cry after messing up my college entrance exam. After shooting that scene, I felt relieved. It was tough to film, and I felt bad for my character, but once it was over, I realized how fun acting could be.” Director Cho Young-myoung chimed in, “After filming that scene, she knocked on my door and told me how much fun acting was.”
