TXT’s Yeonjun Issues Official Apology “I Was Careless And Failed To Respect The Historical Significance Of Liberation Day”
At around 2 AM on August 16th, Yeonjun posted on his official account and the fan communication platform Weverse, stating, “I failed to respect the historical significance of Liberation Day and carelessly uploaded photos. I sincerely apologize to everyone who was hurt by my thoughtless actions.”
He added, “I will reflect on my shortcomings and will be much more careful in the future to ensure that this does not happen again. Once again, I apologize to everyone.“
On August 15th, Yeonjun uploaded photos showing his recent status, some of which were taken on the streets in Japan, sparking controversy.
Meanwhile, TXT will be holding the offline fan event “PLAY X TOGETHER 2024” on August 20th at the Myongji College Arts and Physical Education Hall in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, where they will meet their fans MOA.
