Singer Uhm Jung-hwa heated up online platforms by revealing her special connection with producer Bang Si-hyuk
On Nov 20th, the YouTube channel BANGTANTV released an episode of “SUCHWITA” featuring Uhm Jung-hwa.
Suga mentioned Bang Si-hyuk and asked Uhm Jung-hwa, “Haven’t you worked with him before?” Uhm Jung-hwa smilingly responded, “When I was working on ‘Invitation’, I met Bang Si-hyuk for the first time. It was good working with him and after that he gave me the song ‘Come 2 Me’. During the recording, I said how glad I was to meet him again. I was really excited.”
Suga went on to ask, “I heard something interesting. I heard that you two almost got married. You almost went on ‘We Got Married’?”
Uhm Jung-hwa immediately replied “I regret it so much now!”, making Suga burst into laughter. When Suga asked for the reason, Uhm Jung-hwa expressed regret, “I should’ve done it! I was so busy then.”
In 2011, Bang Si-hyuk expressed his desire to appear on the virtual marriage variety show “We Got Married” with Uhm Jung-hwa, revealing himself as a huge fan. This caused a lot of buzz at the time.
Uhm Jung-hwa could not hide her regret, saying, “I only read about it in news articles. I was filming a drama and a movie at the time, and I wasn’t comfortable doing variety shows. But later I thought I should’ve done it!”
