On February 7, girl group MADEIN dropped the track “Saturn” from their upcoming single album, alongside an official MV.
In this video, however, member Nagomi could be seen wearing an outfit that revealed most of her stomach. The outfit in question was later discovered to be a bodysuit from fashion brand Namibia, which includes a thong-like bottom that completely exposes the butt.
While the outfit itself is not a matter of controversy, the fact that Nagomi is underage leads to heavy criticisms. In particular, fans have expressed their discomfort and accused MADEIN’s agency of sexualizing a minor, finding this action “disgusting”.
They are also trending the issue on SNS platforms, such as X (formerly Twitter) to ask the agency to take remedy actions.
On the other hand, this is far from the only controversy that MADEIN faced under their agency. In fact, ever since their debut under 143 Entertainment, the girl group has constantly faced questionable treatment, which ranges from poor management to alleged sexual assault and physical abuse.
Previously, fans pointed out member Serina was also sexualized while she was underaged.
