VCHA’s Kaylee Officially Leaves Group Due to Health Issues

Kaylee, the youngest member of JYP Entertainment’s U.S.-based girl group VCHA, has officially withdrawn from the group due to ongoing health issues, marking a significant change in the rookie group’s lineup.

On July 12, JYP Entertainment released a statement announcing that Kaylee and JYP America had reached a mutual agreement to end her activities with VCHA after careful discussion.

“Both parties sincerely wish each other all the best in their future endeavors. Thank you” the agency stated in its English statement.

Meanwhile, Kaylee also published a long post on her person Instagram as below:

I wanted to inform everyone that my journey with JYP Entertainment and VCHA has come to an end.Firstly, I want to express my deepest gratitude to JYP Entertainment for the incredible opportunity they gave me and for all the experiences I gained during my time as a trainee and member of VCHA.To all the amazing VLIGHTS, who have supported us with so much love and passion – thank you from the bottom of my heart. Born in 2009, Kaylee debuted with VCHA in January 2024 following the group’s formation through the A2K survival audition program, a collaboration between JYP Entertainment and Republic Records in theUS. However, just two months into group activities, she went on hiatus in March 2024 due to health-related concerns and had not returned to official schedules since.

With her departure confirmed, VCHA will now continue as a four-member group consisting of Lexi, Camila, Kendall, and Savanna.

Kaylee’s exit marks the second major lineup change for VCHA. In late 2024, original member KG left the group and filed a lawsuit against the agency, alleging mistreatment by certain staff members. The case stirred significant controversy and raised questions about trainee welfare within global idol projects.
