On August 8th, BLACKPINK held a special fansign event to celebrate their 8th anniversary with 88 lucky fans. This rare opportunity allowed fans to chat with the global girl group for the first time in nearly two years since the fansign promoting their “BORN PINK” album in November 2022. However, during this event, social media was abuzz with speculation that Lisa was being ignored by her own fans.

In particular, netizens on social media compared the gifts received by each BLACKPINK member at the event. While Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé were showered with gifts from fans—Rosé received up to 13 accessories, and Jisoo got 6—Lisa was said to have only received 3 gifts.
There was even a moment when Lisa was seen sitting “alone” during the fansign, which led to suspicions of Lisa being ignored by her own fans.

However, in reality, the images circulating online represent only a small portion of the gifts Lisa received from fans. During the fansign, the youngest member of BLACKPINK also received a significant number of gifts. According to those who were present, the number of gifts Lisa received was comparable to what Jisoo got, not including items that weren’t posted on social media.

Additionally, some pointed out that because Lisa was seated first in the lineup, she had to adhere to a strict time schedule to ensure the event didn’t run over. This could explain why Lisa appeared to have fewer moments interacting with fans at the start of the fansign.
As for the “Lisa unusually silent” moment, fans have rebutted this claim, asserting that Lisa was simply waiting for the next fan to take their place. There are numerous clips on social media of Lisa chatting with fans below, but these weren’t widely shared. This has led some to suspect that the original post may have been trying to push a negative narrative to stir up internal conflicts within the BLACKPINK fan community.
