Was the Kim Jong-kook Assault Rumor True? Kim Kwang-soo “I Should Have Held Back”
In the pre-released video for the 8th episode of “Let’s Go GO” Season 3, which is scheduled to air on Nov 9th, Kim Kwang-soo, the “Midas touch” of the entertainment world who has launched numerous superstars like actress Lee Mi-yeon, singer Jo Sung-mo and groups like Davichi and T-ara, will make his appearance.
Ahn Jung-hwan and Hong Hyun-hee bring up various rumors surrounding Kim Kwang-soo, including questions like, “Have you ever dated any of your artists?” When Kim Kwang-soo responds frankly and boldly, Ahn Jung-hwan worries, saying, “I’m sorry, but can this even be aired?” The preview then shows a video filled with “beep” sound effects, causing laughter.
Additionally, towards the end of the preview, Kim Kwang-soo appears to address the truth behind the T-ara bullying scandal and the Kim Jong-kook assault rumor, which shook the Korean entertainment industry. When asked questions like “Is this all true?” and “Did you really assault Turbo?”, Kim Kwang-soo tearfully responds “I should have held back a bit then…”, increasing curiosity about the full broadcast.
Meanwhile, “Let’s Go GO” is a variety show with the concept of traveling anywhere across Korea to meet celebrities, trending figures and notable individuals, listen to their life stories and become genuine friends. The 8th episode of “Let’s Go GO” Season 3 will air on Saturday, Nov 9th at 8:20 PM KST.
