Won Bin Responds to the Message from Informant A’s Wife Regarding Kim Sae-ron’s Audio Tape Leak
On May 7, Kim Se-ui’s representative at Garoseoro Research Institute held a press conference in Seoul where they revealed a voice message from the informant’s wife.
The message expressed her deep gratitude to Won Bin for his help and support throughout the process, stating, “At first, I didn’t know who Won Bin was. I didn’t know he was famous in Korea, but after seeing what he did, I recognized him. He came quietly, and he showed respect. That quiet humanity meant more to us than you know. Thank you sincerely.”
However, Won Bin’s side has denied having any involvement with the informant or the incident beyond attending the funeral to pay respects. Won Bin’s representative clarified that they do not understand why the informant’s wife expressed gratitude, as they had no direct relationship with the couple. They also denied any financial or material assistance to the bereaved family, emphasizing that the contributions made were “of a general level.”
The informant, A, has claimed to have knowledge of Kim Soo-hyun’s alleged involvement with Kim Sae-ron, and provided audio evidence supporting these claims. However, the authenticity of the audio file has been questioned, with accusations that it was manipulated using AI technology.
In a recent live broadcast, Kim Se-ui’s representative clarified that the informant’s wife only expressed gratitude but did not specify any help received. Despite this, the circulating rumors about Won Bin’s involvement continue to raise suspicions and speculation.
Meanwhile, A also claimed to have been attacked by unknown assailants linked to Kim Soo-hyun on May 1. However, images linked to this incident were found to have been stolen from an image sales website, further complicating the narrative.
Won Bin’s side remains firm in distancing themselves from the controversy and expressed that they do not want to be dragged into such speculations any longer.
