Representing the U.S. in “World Street Woman Fighter 2025”, MOTIV is a powerhouse dance crew straight out of Orlando, Florida. Known for their raw energy, versatility, and fearless battle mentality, they bring together some of the most skilled and dynamic dancers in the game. - In 2018, she joined a choreography-focused dance community. It was a space filled with people who looked and moved differently than she did. However, in 2019, she made the courageous decision to leave that environment and re-focus on hip-hop dance.
- Fantaye described herself as someone who could only truly focus on something she was passionate about. Aside from dance, she didn’t have a particular interest or any standout talent.
- Today, Fantaye is also an educator. She works to empower young Black girls, encouraging them to show up in every space unapologetically as themselves.

Marlee Hightower

- Marlee Hightower is a dancer, choreographer, visual artist and director. Marlee was born on December 2, 1999, in Bakersfield, California, USA. A year later, her family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she grew up close to her maternal relatives and was first introduced to dance.
- Her father is African-American and her mother is white, making her biracial.
- From an early age, Marlee showed a unique passion for dancing. At just 3 years old, she began attending classes that combined ballet, jazz, and tumbling.
- When she was 4, her family relocated to Orlando, Florida, where she was introduced to hip-hop dance. Soon after, she joined the renowned local dance team “Studio One,” officially beginning her journey as a dancer. The group “Studio One, Young Beast Society” competed in Season 5 of America’s Got Talent, reaching the Top 48 and ultimately finishing in 5th place
- At age 11, she started touring with World of Dance, serving as a headliner and workshop instructor. In 2013, she was nominated for World of Dance’s “Teen Choreographer of the Year,” alongside Chachi Gonzales and Kay Kay.
- That same year, she signed with Bloc, a well-known dance agency in Los Angeles, and appeared in commercials for brands such as Samsung, Mattel, TJ Maxx, Party City, Motorola, and Puma. She also featured in Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” music video and performed on Janet Jackson’s “Unbreakable” tour.
- In 2015, her family founded Motiv Dance. There, Marlee became co-director of the Motiv Crew, managing choreography and team direction. In 2018, she and her team competed in Season 3 of NBC’s World of Dance. Since 2020, she has served as co-owner and artistic director of Motiv Dance Studio.
