
During the opening of the November 30 broadcast of MBC’s “The Manager” (also known as “Point of Omniscient Interfere”, the MCs addressed Yoo Byung-Jae, who had been at the center of dating rumors. They commented, “You’re the hottest topic right now,” “Why did you treat us to burgers today?” and “You seem to have found great happiness in life.”
In response, Yoo shyly admitted, “Yes, well,” acknowledging the relationship. When asked if it was a publicity stunt, he clarified, “It’s not for content; it (the relationship) just happened naturally while spending time with mutual friends.”
This marks Yoo Byung-jae’s official acknowledgment of the dating rumors two weeks after the initial reports.

Speculation soon emerged online, pointing to Lee Yoo-jung, a contestant on TVING’s “Love Catcher in Bali” (Season 4 of the Korean dating show “Love Catcher”). Observers noted that Yoo and Lee followed each other on social media. Yoo had also been consistently liking all of Lee’s posts since May, and eyewitness accounts claimed to have seen the two together recently.
However, both Yoo and Lee refrained from commenting, and his agency maintained its stance, stating, “We cannot confirm anything about his private life.”
Breaking his silence on national television, Yoo confidently acknowledged the relationship, showcasing his commitment. Fans have since flooded the couple with congratulatory messages.
Meanwhile, born in 1997, Lee Yoo-jung is 9 years younger than Yoo Byung-jae, who was born in 1988. During her time on “Love Catcher in Bali”, she introduced herself as a beauty instructor and DJ. Lee is known for her resemblance to actresses Han So-hee and Song Hye-kyo.
