Yoo Hye-won’s Past Re-examined After Recent “Couple Palace” Broadcast: Dating Rumors With Seungri & Drama Acting
In the new episode of tvN’s program “Couple Palace 2” released on February 26th, matching for the Palace Week began.
There was a romantic atmosphere between Yoo Hye-won and Hwang Jae-geun, a male cast known as “No.3”, but rejected him when he expressed interest and feelings for her.
When Yoo Hye-won appeared as an additional cast later on, Hwang Jae-geun confessed, “I never expected this. I felt both disappointed and a little angry. But I wanted to talk to her (upon seeing her face)”.
Later, Hwang Jae-geun had a conversation with another male cast. During their talk, “No.15” Min Dong-seong mentioned Yoo Hye-won, saying “Isn’t No.19 (Yoo Hye-won) really famous? I heard some bad rumors about her past. There were several articles about her…”.
Following the broadcast, netizens re-examined rumors surrounding Yoo Hye-won. The female model was rumored to have been in a romantic relationship with former BIGBANG member Seungri in 2018 and 2020. Later, Dispatch raised the dating rumor for the third time by reporting that Seungri and Yoo Hye-won went on a trip to Bangkok together.
When the rumor broke out for the first time in 2018, Yoo Hye-won’s side refused to give a clear statement, stating that it was her personal matter. Seungri’s former agency YG Entertainment also did not confirm nor deny the romance rumor.
Later in 2019, Seungri was booked by the police on several charges, including prostitution, habitual gambling, etc., and indicted without detention in January 2020. Later in March 2020, he enlisted at the boot camp in Cheolwon, Gangwon-do. Yoo Hye-won reportedly accompanied Seungri on his enlistment despite his indictment.
