On August 18, singer and actress Yoon Eun-hye posted a video to her personal Instagram account, shortly after singer Kim Jong-kook officially announced his marriage. The timing of the post and its symbolic content have attracted significant public attention due to the duo’s well-known “love line” history from the early 2000s.

The video, captioned “BABY V.O.X concert practice!!! September is coming faster… making me nervous…”, shows Yoon Eun-hye rehearsing for an upcoming BABY V.O.X concert. However, what drew the most attention was the presence of a broken heart emoji overlaid in the footage — posted just hours after Kim Jong-kook’s marriage announcement.

Earlier the same day, Kim Jong-kook shared a handwritten letter on his fan café stating, ““I am getting married”, making headlines across entertainment platforms. This announcement naturally brought renewed attention to his past televised connection with Yoon Eun-hye.

The pair gained widespread popularity during the early 2000s through SBS’s variety program “X-Man”, where they were frequently portrayed as a romantic pair. Their interactions were so convincing that dating rumors persisted for years, although both parties consistently denied being in a relationship. A particularly notable incident involved viewers connecting household items seen in Kim Jong-kook’s home to Yoon Eun-hye, further fueling rumors.

Despite the personal implications fans are drawing, Yoon Eun-hye remains focused on her musical activities. She reunited with fellow BABY V.O.X members during the 2024 KBS Gayo Daechukje, marking a rare full-group performance. The group is now preparing for an official concert scheduled for September, with Yoon actively sharing rehearsal updates via social media.
