On May 7, a video featuring actress Yoon Mi-ra was posted on the YouTube channel “Soonpoong Sunwoo Yong-nyeo”.
In the video, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo and her close friend Yoon Mi-ra head to Yangpyeong together.
While riding in the car driven by Sunwoo Yong-nyeo, Yoon Mi-ra remarked, “Since it’s the era of self-promotion, I’ll say this—I’m proud that I’ve never done anything with my face. Not even a single Botox injection. Both this sister (Sunwoo Yong-nyeo) and I live as we were naturally born.”

When the production crew asked “Not even lasers?”, Yoon Mi-ra firmly replied “Not at all”, and Sunwoo Yong-nyeo added, “I don’t even know what lasers are.”
Yoon Mi-ra continued, “I don’t really go to dermatology clinics. Well, okay—I go sometimes. But I tell my juniors this: it’s a shame when they ruin their already beautiful faces with plastic surgery. The muscles are supposed to move, but they don’t. Only their eyeballs move back and forth. How can that be acting?”
Expressing her regret toward some younger actors whose excessive procedures affect their performance, she added, “Wrinkles that come with age are beautiful.” When asked about her skincare secret, Yoon Mi-ra replied, “I just wash my face and apply something.”

Sunwoo Yong-nyeo chimed in “It’s just about applying something good”, drawing attention with her candid charm.
Yoon Mi-ra’s comments have sparked conversation about authenticity, natural beauty, and how physical expression remains a vital component of powerful acting.
