YouTuber Lee Jin-ho Takes Legal Action Over False Claims in Kim Sae-ron Case

On March 20, Lee Jin-ho uploaded a video titled “The Truth About Garo Sero Institute’s False Accusations! Filing a Lawsuit Against Kim Sae-ron’s Fake Aunt” on his YouTube channel “Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho”. In the video, he clarified that his lawsuit is not against Kim Sae-ron’s family but specifically against those who allegedly spread misinformation, including the fake aunt, Garo Sero Institute’s Kim Se-ui, comedian Kwon Young-chan and lawyer Bu Ji-seok.

Lee Jin-ho stated that the individual claiming to be Kim Sae-ron’s aunt initially introduced herself as a biological relative and spoke without voice distortion, causing a significant stir. However, it was later revealed that she was not a biological aunt but a close friend of Kim Sae-ron’s mother. He pointed out discrepancies in media reports, where the wording was altered from “close aunt” to “biological aunt”, suggesting that powerful influences were at play.
Lee Jin-ho also questioned Kwon Young-chan’s credibility, noting that he allegedly contacted over 100 media outlets to publish his claims, but none accepted them, leading him to turn to Garo Sero Institute. Additionally, Lee Jin-ho criticized Kwon Young-chan for conducting interviews under the title of “Head of the Celebrity Suicide Prevention Association” while being listed as a “Raon News journalist” in Kim Sae-ron’s father’s phone.

Refuting claims made by Kim Sae-ron’s supposed aunt, Lee Jin-ho countered accusations that the actress had attempted self-harm after watching his video on January 8, stating that she was in New York at the time with her husband. He also denied accusations regarding his commentary on Kim Sae-ron’s social media posts and her involvement in the play “Dongchimi”.
Lee Jin-ho emphasized his commitment to clearing his name and stated that he would pursue legal action against Kim Se-ui, Kwon Young-chan and Bu Ji-seok for alleging that he was paid by Gold Medalist to harass Kim Sae-ron.
Meanwhile, on March 17, Kim Sae-ron’s family filed a defamation lawsuit against Lee Jin-ho. The YouTuber had previously claimed that Kim Sae-ron had recently married while living in the U.S.
