Yulhee Removes All Traces of Choi Minhwan from Her Channel Amid Custody Battle and Public Outrage Over His Real Estate Profit

On November 15, Yulhee removed all references to Choi Minhwan from her channel, “Yulhee’s Home,” including recordings of his private life. This comes after Yulhee previously exposed his visits to adult venues.
She had earlier shared the reasons for their divorce, including marital conflicts, prostitution allegations, and her giving up custody and alimony. Yulhee had initially hoped to bring the children but eventually left alone due to practical issues.
Four days ago, she filed for a custody change and settlement on alimony and property division, sparking speculation that Yulhee is completely severing ties with her past.

In a recent video, Yulhee shared, “I didn’t abandon my children, but I wondered if they might think that. I could have gotten over it, but I wondered if I was too narrow-minded. I questioned if I should have accepted the situation as a mother. I don’t regret choosing divorce.”
She also emphasized, “I didn’t live shamefully as a mother, and I won’t in the future. I want to live proudly as a mother to my children. I didn’t ignore the children’s feelings, and I want to face them with dignity as their mother.”
The divorce lawyer handling the case, Yang So-young, expressed confidence, saying in a personal broadcast, “From what I’ve heard, it seems like the original agreement was that Choi Minhwan would be the primary custodian long-term, but there were discussions about Yulhee taking the children soon. I believe she has a strong chance of winning.”

Choi Minhwan recently sold his property in Gangnam, Seoul, for around 3.8 billion won, making a 2.5 billion won profit. He had purchased the house for 1.25 billion won in 2015 and had built a two-story multi-family home, which was featured on KBS’s “Return of Superman” and “Mr. House Husband.”
This sale has sparked public outrage, especially after Yulhee revealed that during their divorce, Choi Minhwan offered her only 50 million won for alimony and 2 million won in child support. Yulhee had given up custody and alimony for the sake of their children, which has led to further backlash given his significant real estate profit.
