Early Life and Background
Sung Han-bin was born in Cheonan, South Korea in 2001. He has a younger sister who is a member of the National Sports Climbing Team. Growing up, Han-bin developed a passion for street dance, training in styles like waacking and tutting since middle school. Prior to his idol debut, he trained under Cube Entertainment and earned a barista license while working at his mother’s café. Han-bin studied K-pop performance at Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts, where he became acquainted with other trainees.
Career
Han-bin began his career as a backup dancer, performing with groups like Wanna One and BTS. In 2023, he represented Studio Gl1de and participated in the Mnet survival show Boys Planet, where he finished in second place. As a result, he was confirmed as a member of the new boy group ZEROBASEONE and was elected as the group’s leader in May 2023. ZEROBASEONE made their debut in July 2023.
In September 2023, Han-bin was announced as the new host of Mnet’s music show M Countdown, co-hosting with (G)I-dle’s Miyeon initially, and then later joined by Boynextdoor’s Myung Jaehyun and Riize’s Sohee. In 2024, he was selected as the new storyteller for the second season of the reality show I-Land.
Achievements and Awards
As a member of ZEROBASEONE, Han-bin has helped the group receive several prestigious awards, including the Best New Artist and Rookie of the Year at the 2023 MAMA Awards, as well as the Best New Artist (Overseas) at the 2023 Asian Pop Music Awards.

Han-bin comes from a supportive family. He has a younger sister and the family owns two Pomeranian dogs.
