According to QQ, on November 15, Zheng Shuang posted a video featuring her Shiba Inu dog. She didn’t show her face but revealed that she was sick, struggling in the U.S., and feeling neglected. “The house hasn’t been cleaned in a long time, and even her pet has lost weight,” the outlet reported.

Sources say that when Zheng Shuang first moved to the U.S., she lived a very comfortable life. She often shared pictures of parties and took her parents on trips around the world. However, due to a lack of work and reckless spending, the former actress has fallen into financial difficulty.

Earlier this year, Zheng Shuang was threatened by creditors who even hired gangsters in the U.S. to track her down for repayment. Later, Zheng Shuang admitted she had no money, was living off her parents’ pension, and promised to work to pay back the debt. However, she continued to spiral and even had to borrow money from her ex-boyfriend to get by.

Her new appearance (pictured on the right) left many people unrecognizable.

Meanwhile, 163 reported that Zheng Shuang was seen eating at a modest restaurant in the U.S., where a few people recognized her. One account shared a photo of her sitting at the same table as the actress from Meteor Shower, with a puffy face and a bald head.

In August, Zheng Shuang caught attention when she shared a moment with teary eyes, sparse hair, and a frail body on her 33rd birthday. The former actress was dressed simply and using a phone that was three years old.

After the shocking tax evasion scandal that rocked the Chinese entertainment industry, Zheng Shuang accumulated massive debts. The actress denied reports claiming she owned $230 million in assets, saying that if she had such money, she wouldn’t have struggled in her previous child custody lawsuit.

Born in 1991, Zheng Shuang gained fame with films such as Meteor Shower, Palace, Love at First Sight, and The Journey of Flower. She was once a top star in China with a large fan following. She has been banned from appearing on screen since January 2021 due to the tax evasion scandal, surrogacy issues, and allegations of abandoning her two children.
