BABYMONSTER To Eliminate 1 Member? Asa Provides “Visual Shock”

At midnight on November 15 (Korean time), YG unleashed the visual video and official images for the second member of BABYMONSTER – Asa. With her distinct beauty and glamorous aura, Asa immediately became a sensation on SNS.

In YG’s distinctive style, Asa’s personality and dynamism maintain a feminine charm, earning her the title of the “new generation visual” right after the images were revealed.

Asa, 16 years old, is a Japanese member of BABYMONSTER, who is predicted to play the role of main rapper. In contrast to her soft and delicate appearance, Asa’s voice is powerful and embodies the YG style.

In the debut video, Asa captivates with her alluring eyes and divine angles, prompting comparisons to BLACKPINK’s Jisoo.

However, alongside Asa’s visual, one detail has caught the audience’s eyes. In particular, Asa’s visual video, along with the first video for fellow member Chiquita, only include six doors, leading to speculation that BABYMONSTER might be debuting with 6 members, instead of the original 7-member line-up.

This speculation is not without basis either, as Ahyeon, one of the group’s supposed members, was involved in a controversy related to the use of the “n-word” in her rap. Afterwards, she continuously remained absent from BABYMONSTER’s social media platforms.

In addition, in BLACKPINK’s Born Pink Final Seoul show, six out of seven BABYMONSTER members, excluding Ahyeon, were seen supporting their seniors. As a result, netizens have raised doubts about Ahyeon no longer debuting with BABYMONSTER. While YG recently announced that Ahyeon would debut, many still remain vigilant.

Meanwhile, the debut work of BABYMONSTER is set to be officially unveiled at midnight on November 27 (Korean time).
